There was a point where I knew how to apply lashes…
but if I’m being real, I didn’t always feel like a great lash artist.
I am lashing from home, sometimes with dogs barking, family in the background, and noise everywhere.
And while I was trying to create a professional experience for my client…
inside, I was second-guessing everything.
- Should I have used a different curl?
- Is this too long?
- Does this actually fit her eye?
- Should I have mapped this differently?
I knew how to lash.
But I didn’t fully understand why I was making every decision I was making.
And when you don’t understand the why, you start depending on someone else’s map, someone else’s set, someone else’s eye.
That’s when I realized:
I didn’t need another map. I needed to understand what made the map work.
So I became obsessed with understanding shape, curl, length, facial features, and why the same set could look completely different on two different clients.
And once I understood that…
I stopped copying.I started designing.
I became more certain in my decisions, more confident with my clients, and eventually confident enough to charge over $150 for my sets.
Not because I found a secret map.
But because I finally understood what I was doing.
And that’s what I want to teach you.
How to look at the client in front of you, understand her blueprint, and know WHY you’re making every styling decision.
